It is unfortunate that in my own experience Powershell apps are seen as 'cheating' when making apps or Windows services. I personally love Powershell and I have made many useful apps with it by using winforms and compiling my ps1 files into exes to be run on different machines on the network. I personally love Powershell Universal (formally Universal Dashboard) and I have made plenty of responsive web applications on there as well by using Powershell as the logic.
I think that Powershell is an amazing learning tool for people to get to grips with programming fundamentals and I hope that by writing about it in a plain and accessible way that I can maybe help someone that is new to the world of Powershell.
