QGIS plugin for ranking linear vector objects

The plugin is designed for ranking segments of linear vector objects using starting point. Can be used for calculations in hydrology (e.g. Strahler, Shreve and Topological stream order) and related geo-sciences.

The Lines Ranking plugin can be used for road network analysis and stream ordering (for example, for calculating Shreve stream order). Usage examples and detailed description of the algorithm can be found in the documentation.

QGIS has the ability to install plugins from zip archives. If you have such a need, you can get an archive of a suitable version from the official plugin page, or download it from versions folder.
